This is an absolutely a creative advertisement. The reasons I said it, it's because of the variety of product placements in the "I Need a Doctor" music video by Dr. Dre, Eminem and Skyler Grey. The product placements such as Ferrari, G-Shock, HP, Gatorade and Beats by Dr. Dre . Although the source from Wikipedia stated that it received criticism but I do think this is a creative way of advertising a company's product.
A company can actually collaborate with celebrity to advertise their product. This may reach the audiences in a different ways. This is a music video which done by celebrities, so definitely viewers will view it on Youtube to get know the latest music video. On the other hand, advertisements advertised by company to expose to the audiences. As in this collaboration, a viewer who clicks "Play" on this video and enjoy it, he or she will able to see the advertisements in an indirect way. A company can take this opportunity to brand the celebrity as their brand ambassador which market their products to the celebrity fans.
Celebrity not only able to earn some money from there but at the same time, it may increase the number of customers for the company. It acts as a win-win situation for both parties. So company and celebrity cooperate to advertise the product as in a creative way.
