Uniquely Malaysian Creation : NESLO

Hanging out at the "mamak" stall and as usual what do you order for your drink? It just will be either "teh tarik", "teh o ais" or "sirap bandung". For me personally, I'm into neslo.

Neslo is a uniquely Malaysian creation and from the picture above, it just looks like a typical "Nescafe ais" or "Milo ais". Actually Neslo is the mixture of Nescafe and Milo and stir along with some condensed milk.

This has shown that the creative among us as Malaysian in creating a new type of drink to bring delight for everyone. One thing that brings doubt to me that is who created this as first of all? And who spread this recipe throughout the whole Malaysia that in any "mamak" stall do serve this drink and even some typical coffee shops.

At the end of the year of 2011, Nestle (Malaysia) came out with their brand new product which is Neslo in sachet packets. Nestle (Malaysia) came put with this new product because Nescafe and Milo are part of Nestle products. They tried to delight Malaysians as well with this new drink. I felt elated at first when Nestle came out this new product but for me personally, I don't feel delighted at all after I tried it.
The Nescafe taste was not strong enough, and worst was the Milo, which I almost failed to detect its presence.
